From the program webpage, "Educational events to help crop producers understand decisions regarding the 2018 Farm Bill reauthorization of ARC and PLC programs.
Under the 2018 Farm Bill, crop producers must make a selection by March 15, 2020, of either ARC-County, PLC or ARC-Individual for all covered commodity base acres on a farm. This election will apply to the farm for 2019 through 2020.
Crops grown in Minnesota that are covered by this program include corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, canola, sunflowers, oats, sorghum, lentils, dry peas, garbanzo beans and flax.
This educational meeting will provide information to help you decide which program is best for your situation."
Dates and locations of farm bill crops meetings in northwest Minnesota are as follows:
- January 7 - Thief River Falls - 9 to 11 am, Ralph Engelstad Arena
- January 7 - Greenbush - 1 to 3 pm, Greenbush Community Center
- January 8 - Bemidji - 10 am to 12 pm, Beltrami County Fair Grounds, 4H Bldg.
